Rest in Paradise, Ian

I remember being kids just trying to create something special with this brand, and you instilled that in everything you did. When I thought a project was good, you pushed to transcend creative boundaries despite me wanting it safe and practical.

We saw you uphold the arts visually just as you would musically โ€” always integrating the two at events. You'd give your all on dj sets no matter what; whether it was for a small audience outnumbered by $2000 worth of tropical plants (that we'd return the day after) or if it was in a crowded Santa Clara student basement with zero air flow. Further, you inspired the youth at our community outreach program and full heartedly told kids to embrace themselves and their creative individuality.

And finally, we saw you full stride as you launched your music career and did your own thing... letting the world know that you're one of the most talented, beautiful souls we'd ever meet.

These are just a few memories that have given us joy and inspiration that will last forever. Thank you for sharing your radiant energy that helped create the foundation of Mojave.

Our thoughts and prayers are with lan's friends and family as we all move forward.

We hope to make you proud as you shine your light from above.

Love you, brother ๐Ÿงก
